We are a festival “By Filmmakers, For Filmmakers” and it is our mission to provide you with a platform to get your voice and your film out there to the world!
In the first two years of the festival, both of our Documentary Feature Winners later went on to global platforms like Amazon Prime and iTunes, after having their Colorado Premiere at HIFF. We’re making waves in the international filmmaking community and the industry is beginning to take notice.
Since we were founded by filmmakers, we know what you desire to gain out of the festival experience; recognition, applaus, networking opportunities, a chance to grow, and having a good freaking time!
Absolutely fantastic festival that first and foremost, genuinely cares about YOU, the filmmaker. There is an instant warmth to the people who put this on, and within minutes you're sucked into the great programming that stands out from other festivals. I was very glad to see so much care put into this and look forward to being a part of this for years to come! Way to go HIFFCO!
